The elements of this holistic and unique business includes: Private & Group Yoga/Pilates Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, Outdoor Adventure & Training; Private & Group Indoor & Outdoor Yoga. All services are offered in homes, the studio, schools, businesses & outdoors. Everything The Turning Leaf offers is available independently or as a part of an individualized wellness package. Services and Classes include:

Yoga
Through (Vinyasa) Yoga Flow one engages the core, learns how to control breath, develops a skill in meditation, detoxifies the body and works in subtle areas of the body. A small list of benefits gained through the regular practice of yoga include equalizing the nervous system, decreasing depression, lowering blood pressure, improving joint mobility & flexibility, improving sleep, aiding in digestion, increasing immunity, mental alertness, helping to normalize weight & gaining strength in every part of the body. Yoga simply helps one feel energized, peaceful and happy.
Detox Yoga & Pilates
With heat, breath and movement, this series of yoga & Pilates postures are designed to detoxify, build strength, focus & flexibility in the body. First part of the class focuses on movement through a series of standing postures and the latter portion works the core & opening of the spine & hips. Recommended for everyone, from first day beginners to advanced students.
The South Carolina Lowcountry has so much to offer in its dramatic environment including the greenways, estuaries, foothills, breakers, bridges and much more. Many people stay indoors for the majority of the day whether it is at work or in front of the television/computer. The Turning Leaf prepares individuals of all ages to take advantage of the world around them. TTL takes this role seriously and aims to practice & share safe, valuable and conscious outdoor activities regionally.
Outdoor Adventure & Fitness
Be Adventurous and get into Amazing Shape!
10 sessions of Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, Biking, Climbing, Running, Fitness on the Beach, Yoga, Pilates & Swimming. We will meet at various locations in the Charleston area such as Sullivan's Island, Shem Creek, Hampton Park, Folly Beach, Charleston Community Yoga Studio, James Island County Park, Ravenel Bridge, etc. A schedule with locations and descriptions will be given to you before you start the Adventure Challenge. You are not required to bring anything except for water. You will keep a journal of your daily excercises and the foods that you are eating while participating in the program.

SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding) Yoga/Pilates (1 hr.)
Enjoy the salty air and water atop a Stand Up Paddleboard! It is truly one of the most amazing and invigorating workout. You will learn the skills for SUP and the technique of balance as we move through a series of Yoga and Pilates postures.
